Environmental Justice day at the Heron’s Head Park Eco Center

Saturday, February 19, 2022, the Eco Center at San Francisco’s own Heron’s Head Park in the Bayview Hunters Point hosted a lovely event for Black History and environmental justice. Arieann Harrison, founder of the Marie Harrison Community Foundation, Inc. and #CanWeLive coalition, along with Malik Seneferu, a Hunters Point Shipyard artist, spoke on the natural beauty that hides the environmental health disaster and economic inequity allowed to poison the lives of residents in one of the richest cities in the country.

The science of the environment and its effect on our bodies and health is indisputable.
