The Marie Harrison Community Foundation, Inc. was founded to provide a powerful platform for new community leadership by supporting students and families pursuing a higher education with wraparound services. Our community is filled with passion and undiscovered talent!
We aspire to create a culturally competent, positive, impactful environment, with the knowledge that our kids and young adults will be more than just good workers but creators and masters of their own destinies. We strive to fill in some of the gaps in services that are provided to low-income communities of color by building bridges to economic and environmental well-being.

Founder Arieann Harrison is currently growing the Marie Harrison Community Foundation Inc., a community-based 501(c)3 in Bayview Hunters Point that helps to strengthen a new generation of leaders through individual passions and community investment outside of the structures that have long been disenfranchising people of color.
Community Outreach
MHCF creates bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful for our kids.
Housing & Job Resources
While running the Marie Harrison Community Foundation, Arieann Harrison helps veterans and chronically homeless individuals find stable housing situations and recovery programs through her work within social services.
